VW and Ford vehicles have driven away with more accolades, this time from a business motoring organisation.
As commercial vehicles need to be top-notch, this information could also catch the attention of any motorist looking for a reliable and quality used car.
The VW Golf was voted as Acfo's Fleet Car of the Year for the second time in a row.
Vincent Kinner, head of fleet services at Volkswagen UK, said the company recognised this was a "tremendous honour".
"The Golf is now in its 34th year and continues, as it did in 1974, to set new benchmarks in terms of value, safety, practicality and refinement."
He added he spoke for the company when he said he was "extremely proud" Acfo members had voted for the Golf.
Meanwhile, the Ford Transit Connect was awarded the title of Fleet Van of the Year.
Recently the VW Golf was ranked third in the European Car of the Year awards, after the Vauxhall Insignia and the Ford Fiesta.
